Guide to Grand Theft Auto

The cops pistols can not shot over the car, but the flame-thrower can. Try to time Kill Frenzy and get a lot of points. Avoid Kill Frenzy- power ups until your multiplier is higher then level 3. Try to stand left in the car when you will kill a gangmedlem, because you are faster and have better protection. Try to do more things at the same time -kill/destroy humans/cars, you can get hidden bonuses.
When the police is after you, drive a big vehicle (limo, bus, trailer.) and when the police car crashes into your car they will get a bigger damage and after some crashes the police car will explode. If your Wanted level is on four the cop will shoot at you, try to change cars as much as possible. Because it makes the car very slow. The trains are working. Take the control with Ctrl and Alt, hit the Ctrl and one of the direction buttons to drive it in the direction that you want to go. Note! It's more than one train on the rails. Motorcycles can jump down from a roof. When the police shoot at you, drive on the pavement or on the yellow line, to avoid a violent death. By driving over the driver with his own car, you will get extra points. To get more control in sharp curves, use the handbreake. Be observant that road-hinders can be stuck under the car and makes it slow.
The police can not jump over cars and they will only shoot if you are standing right in front of them. If you are being chased by the police, try to take a short cut through a park, they will never drive a place where it's no way. If the police set up roadblocks, try to drive on two lane roads, the police will never set up a roadblock there. Go never out on the rails, they are electrical and can kill you.
If you steal a police car, ambulance or a firetruck your wanted level will rise. Car-jacking (throw the driver out of his car.) is a serious crime. Your Wanted-level will not be so high if you steal a car without a driver. In some buildings you can store stolen cars, until the police forget them. Stolen cars can be sold in the docks (see maps.) Try to shake the cop off, by go over the footbridges (San Andreas, Vice City). The police can't do anything with you there. If you don't want the police after you in the missions, drive a Taxi or a Bug, you will probably not drive over people with these cars. Cars who are parked in strange places are often secret missions. By carry through missions, in strange ways, you can get secret bonuses. You can come in almost every place with a bus. Drive the bus slowly to the port, and when you come near the port, jump out of the bus in speed and place yourself in the front of the bus. You will now get under the bus. When the bus hit the port, you're in. If you try to kill a person and he is on the footbridge and you are down on the road, blow up a car right under him and if you make your hit, he will die. (These rewards, are if you have multiplier x1.)
